Off the page

I am going to a friends baby shower on Sunday and the invitation asked for no presents but for information that we could share with the new Mum to let her know we were thinking about her and her new baby, this is what I came up with after a lot of deep thinking LOL, it was supposed to be a letter or some advice but I thought if it's something worth doing it is worth crafting!!

The card for next weeks lesson is a pretty flower that looks like an open rose, here I have displayed it as a candle holder, but we will be putting it on a card.  I hope you will enjoy it!!

I have been able to spend a little time crafting this morning as hubby is in day surgery for a colonoscopy and gastroscopy..........I left him with the message to tell the nurses to make sure that they washed the tube between procedures!!!..............ha ha

The extended card for the new Mum is beautiful. A lot of loving crafting went into this one.
I hope your ladies like this one, it's so pretty and not too hard to do.
Ohhh, poor Gordy, having two procedures. Careful what you say Jenni,....it could be you next time....LOL.

Hi Jenni,
I adore the card for the new Mum - so much work has gone into it and I'm sure it'll make her feel so special. Just beautiful! Your flower is fabulous as always and it looks great in the candle holder - love it! Hope your hubby is okay - poor love, they're horrible procedures and there you are cracking jokes - was funny 'though!! xxx

The flower looks fab as always, love the idea of the candle holder.
Hope your hubby is OK - not nice procedures - but I'm sure when he tells the nurse what you said, it'll brighten the day for them all!

You gave me a good laugh about those instruments being washed. I hope Gordy is okay. Good to get these things checked out. (not pleasant though).
