In deepest sympathy

A friend of mine lost her Father last weekend, here is a card I made for her.  I used the Lillium punch from Leone Em, but adapted the flower to my own specifications, adding a lilac baby lily insert and buds
We can do this as a lesson on Monday night, otherwise we will make Xmas cards!  I will be back later to look if there are any challenges I can join this week.  I was lucky enough to win a gift voucher last week from Mo Mannings blog hop, I was so excited as I have never won anything before

Saturday, September 24, 2011

Hi everyone, here is a romantic card this week, suitable for a wedding, engagement or special birthday.  It is made using the orchid punch by Leone Em, a very simple flower to make but I am sure you will agree that it looks as though it takes hours!

Hope you enjoy making it as much as I do, the orchid has to be one of my favourite flowers to make.

Friendship flower

Hi Everyone, well I really missed our craft lesson last week, but did enjoy our Japanese visitor, we took him lots of places and I think he had a really good time.  He was a nice young man, great manners and a reasonable command of the English language.  It was a pleasure to have him in our home.  This weeks flower is the Friendship flower.  Quite simple to make and the leaves are stamped then punched, so something different to try.  I am entering into the following challenges.           anything goes                    anything goes                anything goes  anything goes autumn colours
