Lily of the Valley

I must admit this is one flower that makes me homesick for England, we used to have a wild patch in the garden of the last house I lived in.  It is notoriously hard to grow, but again will grow in the hedgerows and woodlands as a weed.  I was lucky and it got established in a small corner of the garden under a tree, and used to come up each year, it was always something I looked forward to. It is something I can't say I have seen here in Australia, perhaps my friends will be able to tell me on Monday.  Today is my Fathers birthday, he is 85yrs young and has spent the day making our Xmas puddings!! he baked the Xmas cake yesterday.......I hope he has another 10yrs with us, as it is one job I don't want to take over!!

Beautiful card Jenni. The lighter green background really makes your flowers pop.
Happy birthday to your Dad, I do know how wonderful it is spending time with your parents.

What a beautiful photo, if your father is making Christmas puddings now, I can only imagine how wonderful they will be on Christmas day (even though it will be boiling hot).

Hi Jenni, hope you're okay. I'm confused because the link to your blog on my sidebar keeps telling me you've updated but when I look you haven't. Don't know what's happening. xx
