A Christmas card - no flowers this time!

Started the Christmas cards and as it's a long weekend here in Australia this week, there is no class on Monday night, so a good chance to do something without flowers for a change.  I used a Fiskars Corner/Border punch and layered it over Gold embossed paper, then used gold embossing paste for the stencil, I added Martha Stewarts gold glitter to the embossing paste before it dried.

Beautiful. I often wonder what Australians do for Christmas motifs-- here in the Northern Hemisphere our cards are full of snow-capped trees and snowflakes and snowmen and various winter themed stuff, but of course it's summer there for the holidays! It captures the right atmosphere covering the desert angle, for sure!! I'm feeling the heat! :)

Great card Jenni, love the idea of the gold showing through the punched border. Guess what! I have been 'playing' with the embossing paste tonight as well, but only 1 good one out of 5! Yours looks great, you must have the 'knack'

Really lovely Jenni. I like the gold paper under the punched out area, looks terrific.
I am hoping to start my Christmas cards in the next couple of weeks.
