Chrysanthemum, Buttercups and Yarrow

Here is the card we will be learning next week on the 4th.  Chrysanthemum, Buttercups and Yarrow, I hope we will have time to do all the flowers but if not we will carry it over to another week.  They are all reasonably simple flowers, the buttercup being the most involved, the Chrysanth needs a rolled stem so we will have practice with that too, it is also lightly painted and uses flock paper and silicon glue for the centre of the flower

Little Soldier

Here is a Christmas card I made recently for a friend.  I have used the little soldier digi stamp from Crafters Kitchen  http://crafterskitchen.blogspot.com/ that was designed by Jim Harker in memory of Jak's  tiny nephew that passed recently from Meningococcal meningitis, how could I not purchase one of these stamps when my eldest granddaughter had the same awful disease when she was six months old, we nearly lost her, I don't know how we would have coped without that darling little girl...........so my heart went out to her family, we could have so easily but for the Grace of God, been in that same situation.  The stamp is delightful and makes a very cheery Christmas card.  I  used Tombow pens to colour it, and added gold stickles to accent the braid.

This weeks class is the waterlily, its made using a Santa punch, a fairly easy card to make.  I sat it on glitter cardstock and trimmed with a ribbon of nearly the same colour.
