A flower using just one punch

Hello, look how early I am!! it's only Wednesday and I have next week's card ready, I have given myself a huge pat on the back, I was ashamed that I was so late last week so doubled my efforts to be ready on time.  This flower and the leaves was made using just one punch, a very simple and easy card to make, I am sure you are going to enjoy it

Boxes

Hi everyone, well for my lesson tonight we decided to concentrate on boxes to fit the cards we make, here is an example, plus if we have the time (I think we will as you are all so very clever) we will make a very quick and easy Christmas card using Rapide Range from the Floral punchcraft shop!! I love it and it takes soooo little time to make it will be a must for Christmas cards this year

The box is fine, the photo just awful LOL, please make allowances I have just had a huge week, visitors and a new grandchild

Visitors have left

I was so sad to see my interstate visitors leave today, I am missing them already, we had five days of laughter and that is not a bad thing.  On Thursday my new Granddaughter was born, two weeks early!! We had a huge celebration and I am so glad my visitors were here to help us.  I posted the quilt and the framed flowers Hope they love them as much as I loved making them, I am so blessed to have three gorgeous granddaughters now, wish I could fly over to Japan tho to see the new one, but I will get there next year!!! Here are my girls altogether on a photo even if they are far apart in life.

Quilt for Lilyan

Here is the quilt I made for my new Granddaughter, I think I am safe posting it now as she will be born in two days, and I am sure her parents will have tooo much to do to be checking out my blog.  It was made with love!!! I wanted her to know she has a family in Australia that loves her, so put all our photo's on it, plus Aussie icons such as the Opera House, Lunar park, Kangaroo, Koala and Emu.....I hope she will enjoy pointing us all out as she grows

Lily's for Lilyan

Here is the shadow box I made for the birth of my new Granddaughter, she is due on Thursday the 22nd, I did lots of lilliums, lily and lily of the valley as they will relate to her name of Lilyan, her second name is Rei which in English means Grace, so I did Jasmine for that, daisies for innocence Her birth flower is Marigold.  The second photo is without the frame so that you can see the flowers more clearly

Marigold sculptured card

Hi everyone, this is the card that will be taught in my class next week!! I am a little behind in my cards as I wanted to get the following week ready as well as I am having visitors from interstate arrive on Tuesday, they are staying til the following Sunday, and then the next class is on Monday night again, it won't leave me a lot of time for doing another so will have to find time over the next weekend.  This flower is the Marigold, its a more time consuming flower to make, lots of painting and cutting involved but I am sure you will agree that the end result is worth the effort.

Another sculptured christmas Card

I finished this card today, it will be taught in my class next week. I wanted to show that any type of flower can be made into a Christmas card with the appropriate message put on it, the flowers are called Crimson delight and are normally just made with the crimson paper, but again I wanted to demsonstrate that any flower can be made in any colour. Just use your own imagination!!
